Dr Michel graduated from Murdoch University following an initial career as a pathology scientist with St John of God Pathology.
She has a strong passion for veterinary emergency and intensive care, and is equally dedicated to supporting, guiding and mentoring fellow veterinarians.
With over 20 years’ experience in practice, Dr Michel began her veterinary career at Balcatta Vets (now Vet24), spent a year working in California, and later purchased Margaret River Vets where she successfully owned and operated the clinic for 15 years. She has been part of the GEOvet team for the past three years.
Outside of work, Michel enjoys staying fit and active through mountain biking and e-foil surfing. She also loves taking her much-loved older boxer cross for gentle walks and relaxed sniff-filled adventures around the estuary.
